Born as William Frederick Burr to parents Lina Ann and Robert Edmund Burr, Bill Burr is of German - Irish descent. He was born on June 10th, 1968in Canton Massachusetts. He had four brothers and one sister growing up. Bill Burr finished high school in 1987 and got enrolled in Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in radio from Emerson in 1993. His journey with comedy started when he tried his hand at standup for a college competition.
