Early life
Chapel grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He went to Woodlin Elementary school. His parents were politically active people. His father worked as a statistician before joining The college as a professor at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. His mother was also a professor at Prince Georges Community College. The chapel has a stepmother and stepbrother. And after the separation of his parents, he stayed in Washington with his mother. He used to spend summers with his father in Ohio. He graduated from Washington’s Duke Ellington school of the arts in 1991. He passed in theatre arts.

Chapel moved to New York to pursue his career as a comedian. His first experience was a disaster. But he never loses his courage.
