He is one of the most successful singer in the music industry that released multiple songs and albums that topped most in charts. Edward Christopher Sheeran professionally known as Ed Sheeran was born on February 17, 1991 in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. He grew up in Birchcliffe Road in Hebden Bridge. His parents, John and Imogen are from London and ran an Independent Art Consultancy named Sheeran Lock.
Ed Sheeran went to Thomas Mills High School, where he stated composing songs. When he was 4 years old, he started singing at a local church choir and learned how to play a guitar at age eleven.

Ed Sheeran started his music career in 2004 in which he released his first collection of work Spinning Man. After moving to London from Suffolk in 2008, he used to play in small venues and auditioned for the ITV series Britannia High. The album became the fastest selling album in the UK with first week sales of over 670,000 and third fastest in UK chart history. On January 2017, Sheeran released two singles "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" that entered the UK Singles Chart number one and number two, the first time in history an artist has taken the top two UK chart positions with new songs.

In 2012, Ed Sheeran reportedly dating the Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt who was in his music video "Drunk" before breaking up. Nesbitt is also the subject behind the songs "Photograph" and "Nina". She is the inspiration of Sheeran's song "Thinking Out Loud" before they ended up in 2015.
In 2015, Sheeran has been in a relationship with his childhood friend and classmate Cherry Seaborn. They got engaged in January 2018 and got married in January 2019. Seaborn was the inspiration behind Sheeran's song "Perfect" and it was reported that they are expecting their first child.
