Jerry Seinfeld is an American stand-up comedian, producer, writer and actor. He is the creator and writer of the sitcom "Seinfeld" along with writer Larry David. He was named the "Greatest Stand-up Comedian of All Time" by Comedy Central.
Jerry Seinfeld Early Life
Jerome Allen Seinfeld, professionally known as Jerry Seinfeld was born on April 29, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York City. Kalman Seinfeld, a Hungarian Descent and Betty Hosni are his parents. Jerry Seinfeld grew up in Massapequa, New York City and went to Massapequa High School for his secondary and State University of New York at Oswego for his college education but later on transferred to another school. He earned his degree in Communications and Theater at Queens College, City University of New York. His interest in comedy at an early age was due to the influence of his father.
Career
After graduation, Jerry Seinfeld usually appeared in an open-mic nights which led to an appearance in a Rodney Dangerfield HBO. In 1980, he appeared on the sitcom Benson that made him fired from the show due to creative differences. A year later, he made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson that made the audience impressed and led him to some appearances on some shows.
In 1988, Jerry Seinfeld partnered with NBC and wrote an American sitcom television series named "The Seinfeld Chronicles" and later renamed to "Seinfeld" with the help of co-writer Larry David. It has been the famous sitcom in American television.
Seinfeld stared a web series in 2012 named "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" which he would pick a fellow comedian from another car and take them out for coffee. The series ran for a total of 11 seasons in 2019. In 2017, he signed a comedy deal with Netflix.
Personal Life
Jerry Seinfeld dated Carol Leifer, his fellow comedian and one of the inspirations for the character of Elaine in "Seinfeld" series where they got engaged but called it off. At the age of 38, he had a long time romantic relationship with a 17 year old high school student Shoshanna Lonstein.

In 1998, he met Jessica Sklar and got married a year after. They have one daughter, who is studying in Duke University and two sons, Julian Kal and Shepherd Kellen. Jerry and Jessica created a charity organization The Good+ Foundation and donated products and services to help family poverty.
Seinfeld has been an automobile collector. He owned different cars including Porsche collection. In 2002, he bough a property in Manhattan, New York City to build a garage for his Porsche collection.
