Early Life
Juice Wrld was born with the name Jarad Anthony Higgins on December 2, 1998 in Chicago, Illinois. His parents divorced when he was just three years old. At a young age, he learned how to play the piano, guitar, and drums.
Juice Wrld went to Homewood-Flossmoor High School. During his childhood and teenage years, he was a heavy drug user. He started drinking lean when he was in sixth grade. He began using percocets and xanax when he was 15 years old.
Juice Wrld took rapping seriously during his high school sophomore year. He initially used the stage name JuiceTheKidd when he released the song Forever on SoundCloud in 2015. It was followed by Too Much Cash in 2017. He worked in a factory while dropping songs on Soundcloud.
His interest in rock to rap music was influenced by rappers Chief Keef, Travis Scott, and Kanye West and British rock singer Billy Idol. He is known for genre-bending, emo, and rock learning.

At the skyrocket of his career, Juice Wrld passed away on December 8, 2019 at the age of 21. He suffered from an unknown medical emergency upon landing at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. He began convulsing and seizing and was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
On January 22, 2020, an autopsy result of his body was released. Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that his death was caused by an overdose of oxycodone and codeine. The pilot notified law enforcement officers that the jet was carrying guns and drugs. In an effort to hide the drugs, Juice Wrld swallowed several pills, including Percocet. One of his associates revealed that he became addicted to Percocet.
