Kim was the second of four children; Kourtney being the eldest, and Khloe and Robert were the youngest siblings. In 1991, her mother divorced Robert and married the 1976 Olympic Decathlete, Bruce Jenner (Caitlyn Jenner) and gained half-sisters named Kendall and Kylie. She went to an all-girls school in Los Angeles which was Marymount High School.

In 2007, she received a wider notice when a sex-tape was released with her then-boyfriend Ray J.
