Tai Lopez was born on April 11, 1977 and was raised in Long Beach, California with his mother and grandmother; his father was in prison growing up. He engaged in a small business of selling cherry tomatoes when he was 6 years.At age 16, he choose to gain knowledge and make his life better. He began reading books, particularly Aristotle's teaching on Nichomachean Ethics, on how to live a satisfying and happy life. He then wrote a letter to his grandfather - a scientist - asking for advice about the secret of living life, with imply to Aristotle's book.His grandfather's response made him dissapointed, however, later on his grandfather sent him a package containing books.

Tai used to work at GE Capital. He went on to become a Certified Financial Planner and worked in the world of finance in preparatory to become a founder, advisor. He appeared on some TV and radio shows, spoke at a top global universities like the The London Business School, created one of the most downloaded podcasts and Youtube channels, "The Grand Theory of Everything".
